For SwiftCollect to deliver reminders effectively via Email, SMS, and WhatsApp, it is essential that your customers contact details are accurate and up to date.
Where does the contact info come from?
By default, SwiftCollect pulls contact details directly from your Accounting Software (Priority, Morning, iCount, etc.) during the initial sync.
How to Update Contact Details manually:
If you need to change or add a phone number or email address specifically within SwiftCollect:
- Go to the Customers tab and click on the name of the client you wish to edit.

2. Click add Email/phone, enter the details and hit save.

💡 Automated Validation
- If an email is invalid, SwiftCollect will mark the document status as “Failed” or “Invalid Email” and you’ll get notified about it.
Bulk Update via Excel (Import/Export)
If you need to update contact information for a bunch of customers at once, you don’t have to do it one by one. You can use our Bulk Update feature.
How to do it:
- Export Your Data: Go to the Clients tab and click the “Export” button. This will download an Excel/CSV file containing your current customer list.

- Edit the File: Open the file in Excel or Google Sheets. Update the Email and Phone Number columns for the relevant customers.
Note: Do not change the “Customer ID” or “Internal ID” columns, as the system uses these to identify the records.
- Import Back to SwiftCollect:
- Go back to the Customers tab.
- Click on “upload updated clients”.

- Upload your edited Excel file.
- Automatic Mapping: The system will read the file and automatically update the information for all matching customers.
